Mandatory Labor Law Posting Change in Michigan

Michigan had a recent mandatory change in the MIOSHA posting. The description of the change is below:

Safety and Health: The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration has updated their Safety and Health Protection on the Job notice. Employers are now required to notify the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs within 24 hours of all work-related inpatient hospitalizations, amputations and losses of an eye. These notifications may now be made through the new MIOSHA Injuries and Illness Reporting number provided on the updated notice. Furthermore, the Consultation and Training Assistance number and the address for the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs have been revised and an email address has been added as an additional resource for contact information.

The change is effective now.
