ANNOUNCEMENT: AFPD to Pick Up Publishing of Quarterly Liquor Price Book

ANNOUNCEMENT: AFPD to Pick Up Publishing of Quarterly Liquor Price Book
Beginning in 2015, the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs/Michigan Liquor Control Commission (LARA/MLCC) will no longer publish a print version of its annual Liquor Price Book. Therefore, AFPD has decided to publish this book and offer it as a member benefit.
“We listened to our members on this one,” says Auday Arabo, president and CEO of AFPD-The Voice of Independent Retailers. “AFPD is filling an important need for our members as well as offering a highly effective advertising vehicle for our vendors and service suppliers.”
Arabo says AFPD will distribute the book to all 10,000+ Class C and SDD licensees in the State of Michigan. The inaugural issue, containing 1st quarter prices effective February 1, 2015 only, will be sent to both members and non-members. All subsequent editions will be sent to AFPD members only.
“To any retailer selling liquor, this book is indispensable to their business,” says Arabo. “It sits by the register of every retailer and is a constant reference tool. That’s why this is such a powerful opportunity for vendors and service providers — to keep their messaging and brand front and center with their retailer customers and potential customers.”
