GRAND BLANC TWP. – The Grand Blanc Township Police Department reports that The Liquor Carousel, a retail liquor store located at 2372 E. Hill Rd., had their liquor license suspended effective Monday. The store was cited for sale of alcohol to a minor in September of last year, using an undercover decoy. In February they were ordered to pay within 45 days, a $1,000 fine as well as serve a three days suspension of their license privileges, which took place from March 30- April 1. In instituting the fine, the liquor commission took into account the stores total record, which showed seven total previous offenses, five, which it stated, were similar in nature to the fall citation, since it was licensed in 2006.
